Yesterday saw the UK release of the Fluff SB book. The arrival of the 600-page, 5kg tome was celebrated with an exhibition at the 1948 store, focusing on the book’s UK content. The show will run till Saturday 14th February.
The Fluff SB book is the outcome of 18 months of travelling and shooting by Marcel Veldman, who visited 19 countries and their national SB Teams, capturing enough quality material to fill 600 pages composing the book. Residing in the basement of the brand new WeSC Store on Carnaby Street the Slam City Skates concession is officially open!
I went to go check it out and say hi to Leon who will be holding it down at Slam for the foreseeable present. Very upset to hear that hardly any skaters won any of the free shit and the flailing hipsters managed to make off with it instead…isn’t it always the way.
Still…The shop is a jam and I highly recommend you all go see for yourselves!

Finally went down to the wholesome store yesterday and have nothing but positive things to say. Upon arrival I was greeted but SKATE 2 and CRUNK! :) the general layout of the store is maad chillin and there's the sickest collection of Baker and Deathwish decks on the wall, *cough*strangely more then slam*cough* lol. wont forget asking kyle what music was playing and to be answered ' ermm yeah, that was Gucci Mane', priceless quote to remember my first time at the store =D . Saw some nice Rogue status, Mishka, 10 deep, diamond........come to think of it everything was saying alot to be honest. Great atmosphere and nice garm what more can you ask for, everyone should boycott hideout coz we all know its shit!! and come to wholesome!!

One of the sickest new hip hop albums ive downloaded in tiiime!! with an all star line-up of featuring artists such as: KRS-one, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Guilty Simpson, DJ premier, Sean Price, DJ Numark, DJ Qbert, Royce Da 5'9 and and more. I instantly loved this album coz its 100% real Hip-Hop and a call out to all the new school 'action figure' rappers, PLUS!1 all their DJ counterparts get it too which i found refreshing, i always forget the DJ's play a huge role in the desecration of the hip hop movement. either way checkout some tunes from the album below :D
